The Underscene commemorates Chicago Artist's Month with "Nothing To Do ith a Red Pick Up Truck," a group exhibition and open studios event at the Underscene warehouse in Pilsen. Resident artists will open their doors, a video show highlights regional videographers, and local artists take over common spaces with photography, mixed media, installation, and more. Plus, live music on Friday night.
Joining regular Underscensters are artist from the group, GardenFresh (www.gardenfresh.org), Britton Walters (www.nerfect.com), and This is Not a Truck (www.blocartiststudios.com), a mobile gallery run by the Bloc Artist Collective, will be on site. Complete list below.
